FAQs
Kalki Avatar is the tenth and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Sanatan Dharma. Kalki Avatar will appear on Earth at the end of the Kali Yuga (the current age) to restore righteousness and order to the world.
The timing of Kalki Avatar’s arrival is specified in Bhavishya Malika. He will appear when the world is steeped in darkness and chaos, and when the principles of dharma have been completely eroded. As per Bhavishya Malika, Kalki Avatar has already incarnated in Odisha, India between 2005-2007.
Since this is the most frequently asked question, we are elaborating in detail.
The total age of Kali Yuga is 4,32,000 years. However, due to the accrued sins and misdeeds by humanity, the age will be reduced to mere 5,000 years. According to the Bhavishya Malika, the age of Kali Yuga will be diminished due to the thirty-five categories of sins. Arjuna had asked Mahaprabhu Shree Krishna that if the age of Kali Yuga was destined to be 4,32,000 years and due to the transgressions, Kali Yuga’s lifespan was to be reduced to only 5,000 years, then, “O Lord, kindly tell us by which sinful deeds and by how much will the age of Kali Yuga be diminished.”
Then Lord Shree Krishna describes the major sins and the number of years by which the lifespan of Kali Yuga will be reduced due to each misdeed, as follows:
- Due to lying: 5000 years
- Due to bathing naked in the Ganges: 12000 years
- Due to love making of a Brahmin with people of another caste: 30000 years
- From the sin of betraying a friend: 6000 years
- Due to not worshiping the idol of Lord Vishnu: 17000 years
- Due to not worshiping Mother Tulsi Devi (& holy Tulsi plant): 5000 years
- Due to not serving the guest: 6000 years
- Due to the sin of betraying one’s brother: 40,000 years
- Due to consumption of forbidden foods (meat etc.): 8000 years
- Due to usurping others’ wealth: 10000 years
- From the sin of cow slaughter: 100000 years
- By misusing charity: 14000 years
- By doing wrongs to widows: 24000 years
- From the sin of killing creatures: 11000 years
- By making love, disobeying the rules of caste, religion, and creed: 12000 years
- From the sin of feticide: 7000 years
- From the sin of killing women: 32000 years
- Due to illegally possessing the land meant for cow grazing and crematorium: 40000 years
- From the sin of abducting one’s mother: 5000 years
- From the sin of betraying others: 40000 years
- Due to patricide, matricide, and other sins: 3000 Years
In this way, 4,27,000 years will be deducted from Kali Yuga’s 4,32,000 years and thus the age of Kali Yuga will be reduced to just 5,000 years. In line with the above reasoning, we find evidence from various Shastras, Puranas, and Malika Granth that due to the many sinful deeds, the age of a yuga is reduced, and the age of this Kali Yuga will also be reduced in the same way and will last only for 5,000 years.
Great Sage Achyutananda Das while analyzing the age of Kali Yuga in his Malika treatise ‘Moh Kalpa’ writes that Ravana received the boon of living for 2688 years due to the severe penance that he did in Treta Yuga, however, his engagement in various sins like indulgence in drinking, cow slaughter, and killings of Brahmins and Kshatriyas caused him to avail himself of only a quarter of his longevity while losing the other three parts. In a similar manner, the age of Kaliyuga will get reduced to only 5000 years owing to the varied sins committed by humans.

Kalki Avatar will vanquish evil forces and restore order and righteousness to the world. He will establish a new era of peace and prosperity, known as Ananta Yuga or Satya Yuga.
Kalki Avatar is considered to be the most powerful and significant of all the avatars of Lord Vishnu, as he will mark the end of the current age and the beginning of a new one. He is also unique in that he is often depicted as a warrior, in contrast to the peaceful and compassionate nature of many other avatars.
It is believed that the best way to prepare for the arrival of Kalki Avatar is to lead a life of righteousness and virtue, and to uphold the principles of dharma. This involves practicing selfless service (seva), cultivating a relationship with the divine through devotion (bhakti), and living a life of honesty, compassion, and integrity. Also, one must completely abstain from non-vegetarian food, intoxication (alcohol, tobacco etc.) and gambling.

‘Bhavishya Malika’ is an ancient and priceless treasure of Odisha containing numerous prophecies about future events, meticulously written on copper plates and palm leaves by the five closest friends and devotees of Lord Krishna, popularly known as the ‘Panchasakha.’ These prophecies are becoming uncannily accurate to date, and we have been sharing detailed descriptions of the end of Kali Yuga, the incarnation of Kalki, forewarnings about World war 3, the impending doom that Pancha Bhoota will cause, and different vital events prophesied in ‘Bhavishya Malika’ on our social media platforms.
Mahapurush Achyutananda Das states that the Kali Yuga, which is a period of moral degradation, has a duration of 4,32,000 years. However, he also explains that due to the immoral deeds of humans, the lifespan of Kali Yuga will reduce to only be five-thousand years. The various Hindu calendars called Panjikas (almanacs), such as ‘Maa Biraja Panjika’, ‘Jagannath Panjika’, and ‘Kohinoor Panjika’, have determined that we are currently in the 5,125th year of Kali Yuga. This implies that Kali Yuga has already surpassed its expected duration of the five-thousand year and has ended, ushering in the age of Yuga-sandhya or Sangam-yuga. Since Kali Yuga has ended and we are in the transitional period, Bhavishya Malika, a text of prophecies and predictions, is particularly indispensable for navigating this transition successfully and uplifting humanity from evil to righteousness. human beings, deceived by the illusions (māyā) of this world, will be oblivious to the perils that will strike at the end of a yuga (Kali Yuga), during the transition (Yuga-sandhya) and just before the beginning of a new yuga (Satya Yuga). He says that even wise men will be disillusioned by this māyā and make grandiose claims during their spiritual discussions, suggesting that Kali Yuga is still in its infancy. In summary, people will be deluded by the illusions of the world, causing them to underestimate the severity of the impending changes that will occur during the transition to a new yuga.
Malika has been written solely for the devotees. For the devotees, Malika is like ‘Mrityu Sanjeevani’ (restorer of life),meaning which can revive the dead back to life. That which can save mankind from the malicious and evil effects of Kaliyug. Humans can revive the dead back to life with the power of ‘Mrityu Sanjeevani.’ Malika will be the medium by which the devotees will come to know that Lord Kalki has incarnated and get to know here He is residing. Thereafter, there will be auspicious meetings of the devotees with Lord Kalkidev. Such a great treatise is Malika!
Around six-hundred years ago, the five closest friends and devotees of Lord Krishna, popularly known as the ‘Panchasakha,’ were reborn in Odisha, the holy land of Lord Jagannath. Among other things, they are credited with writing numerous scriptures containing detailed prophecies about future events. Meticulously written on palm leaves, these prophecies are becoming uncannily accurate to date. As a result, these scriptures, collectively known as the ‘Bhavishya Malika,’ are now widely propagated in various languages.
These five friends, or ‘Panchasakha,’ were born in all four yugas (ages) and were devoted to the Supreme Lord. In the Kali Yuga, their names were as follows:
Panchasakha in Kali Yuga
1) Achyutananda Das
2) Balaram Das
3) Jagannath Das
4) Jasobanta Das
5) Sishu Ananta Das
In the previous three yugas (ages), they were widely known by the following names:
Panchasakha in Satya Yuga
1) Kripajala (Achyutananda Das in Kali yuga)
2) Narada (Balaram Das in Kali yuga)
3) Markandeya (Jagannath Das in Kali yuga)
4) Gargava (Jasobanta Das in Kali yuga)
5) Swayambhu (Sishu Ananta Das in Kali yuga)
Panchasakha in Treta Yuga
1) Nala (Achyutananda Das in Kali yuga)
2) Neel (Balaram Das in Kali yuga)
3) Hanuman (Jagannath Das in Kali yuga)
4) Jambawaan (Jasobanta Das in Kali yuga)
5) Sushena (Sishu Ananta Das in Kali yuga)
Panchasakha in Dwapara Yuga
1) Sudama (Achyutananda Das in Kali yuga)
2) Dama (Balaram Das in Kali yuga)
3) Subala (Jagannath Das in Kali yuga)
4) Subahu (Jasobanta Das in Kali yuga)
5) Shreebacch (Sishu Ananta Das in Kali yuga)
The writings in our holy scriptures, such as ‘Srimad Bhagavatam’ and ‘Srimad Ramcharitramanas,’ presage events till a point, and details about the subsequent future events are written in our Malika. Many clairvoyants from India and worldwide have prophesied future events, but Malika is not written by any clairvoyant! Instead, Lord’s divine companions (Panchasakha), under the direction of the Supreme Lord Himself, have written Malika. Thus, the prophecies of Malika are etched in stone. The Sun could rise in the west, or lotus flowers can bloom on mountain peaks, but the words of Malika will never be falsified as the words in Malika have directly come from the mouth of the Supreme Lord Himself.
One of the unique characteristics of the Bhavishya Malika is that every word written in it is etched in stone, and this has been proved time and again by past events such as the crimes committed by the Mughals in Bharat (India), the British colonization of India, the freedom struggle, and the subsequent independence movement, as well as the partition of the subcontinent. Even more recent events, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, have also been predicted in the Bhavishya Malika. The book also talks about future events such as the advent of Lord Kalki, the gathering of all His devotees, the establishment of the Sudharma Maha-Maha Sangh, and the formation of 16 mandals (groups) all over the world. In addition, it predicts natural disasters caused by the elements, including Earthquakes, cyclones, tsunamis, tornadoes, and forest fires. It also talks about disease and pestilence, the use of nuclear weapons during the Third World War, and our passage from through the present transition period between two yugas, Ananta Yuga, to the Satya YugaAnanta Yug.
According to the Bhavishya Malika, by the year 2032, all major and minor religions, beliefs, and practices will assimilate into the one and only eternal religion, Satya Sanatan Dharma, which will lead humanity into a brighter future. The book is a clear wake up call for a turbulent and misguided human society and a source of salvation for humankind before the impending doom.
Bhavishya Malika is considered to be a religious text in the same way that the Vedas, Puranas, and other Hindu scriptures are.
Interpreting the predictions in Bhavishya Malika requires a deep understanding and lifelong research and study. Fortunately for us, Pandit Shree Kashinath Mishra has devoted over four decades to studying sacred scripture, Malika, and he has been preaching the essence of Malika with the sole purpose of spreading the teachings of our Aryan and Vedic traditions before the imminent destruction and protecting humanity. True to his present actions, his name also appears in Malika, prophesying exactly what Pandit Shree Kashinath Mishra is doing.
Referring to the great Odiya devotee and the noted Malika interpreter Pandit Kashinath Mishra, revered sage Achyutanand Das foretells in his treatise ‘Tattva Bodhini’ that an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu will be born in the Brahmin caste and be named ‘Kashinath’. While imparting the nectar of Malika wisdom to the devotees, Kashinath Ji will keep them informed about the restoration of the divine world order that lies ahead. The sage adds that he will also give necessary commands to the devotees.
Many clairvoyants from India and worldwide have prophesied future events, but Malika is not written by any clairvoyant! Instead, Lord’s divine companions (Panchasakha), under the direction of the Supreme Lord Himself, have written Malika. So, the prophecies made by revered sages like Mahapurush Achyutananda and Panchasakha are immutable and unchangeable as if they are etched in stone. In the future, humanity may witness unprecedented and extraordinary events that seem impossible, such as the sun rising from the west, the lotus blooming atop a mountain peak, the Meru Peak reversing its geographical location, fire providing the sensation of cold air, and ice emitting heat but the predictions of these great sages will remain accurate and unruffled. No power on Earth or elsewhere can stop the words inscribed in Malika from manifesting into reality!
