Bhavishya Malika
Bhavishya Malika—meaning "Garland of Prophecies of the Future"—is a revered collection of sacred Odia scriptures composed by the great saints and seers of Odisha, collectively known as the Panchasakha. Regarded by its followers as the final prophetic scripture of Sanatana Dharma, these texts were written more than six centuries ago by the five saint-poets, who are traditionally associated with the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. According to tradition, the words were not merely their own compositions but were divinely revealed and dictated by Lord Jagannath Himself—hence they are revered as "Brahma Vaani", the Divine Voice of the Supreme. The Kalki Purana is an ancient Sanskrit text that forms part of the larger Puranic literature of Hinduism. The Bhavishya Malika, on the other hand, is composed in Odia and was written by specific historical saints (Panchasakha) during the medieval period. While both describe the coming of Kalki Avatar, the Bhavishya Malika provides unique and specific details — many of which have already been fulfilled in the modern age — that are not found in the Kalki Purana. They complement rather than contradict each other.
Yes. The Bhavishya Malika texts are well-documented historical compositions by the Panchasakha saints of Odisha — revered figures in Odishan spiritual tradition. What validates their prophetic authenticity is the extraordinary accuracy with which dozens of their predictions have come to pass — including descriptions of airplanes, automobiles, electric lighting, global communication, and world wars — composed centuries before these things existed. The fulfilled prophecies provide strong grounds for taking the unfulfilled ones seriously.
The Bhavishya Malika is written in classical Odia. Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra has worked to make the teachings accessible in multiple languages. Detailed English overviews, commentaries, and summaries are available as free PDFs on our resources page. Hindi translations are also available. The full verse-by-verse translations continue to be an ongoing scholarly project.
According to Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra's commentary, a substantial majority — estimated at around 80% — of the verifiable historical and technological prophecies in the Bhavishya Malika have been fulfilled. These include descriptions of aviation, automobiles, electricity, telecommunications, world wars, the independence of India, and numerous other specific events. The remaining prophecies primarily concern the coming purification, Kalki Avatar's arrival, and the dawn of Satya Yuga. See the prophecies →

Mahapurush Achyutananda Das states that the Kali Yuga has a duration of 4,32,000 years. However, due to the immoral deeds of humans, the lifespan of Kali Yuga will reduce to only 5,000 years. The various Hindu calendars — 'Maa Biraja Panjika', 'Jagannath Panjika', and 'Kohinoor Panjika' — have determined that we are currently in the 5,125th year of Kali Yuga. This implies that Kali Yuga has already surpassed its expected duration of 5,000 years and has ended, ushering in the age of Yuga-sandhya or Sangam-yuga. Since we are in this transitional period, Bhavishya Malika is particularly indispensable for navigating this transition and uplifting humanity from evil to righteousness. Malika has been written solely for the devotees — for them it is like 'Mrityu Sanjeevani' (the restorer of life), which can revive the dead back to life and save mankind from the malicious effects of Kaliyug.
Many clairvoyants from India and worldwide have prophesied future events, but Malika is not written by any clairvoyant. Instead, Lord's divine companions — the Panchasakha — under the direction of the Supreme Lord Himself, have written Malika. Thus, the prophecies of Malika are etched in stone. The Sun could rise in the west, or lotus flowers can bloom on mountain peaks, but the words of Malika will never be falsified as they have directly come from the mouth of the Supreme Lord Himself.
Every word written in Bhavishya Malika is etched in stone — proved time and again by past events such as the Mughal crimes in Bharat, British colonization, India's independence, the partition of the subcontinent, and even the Covid-19 pandemic. It also predicts future events: the advent of Lord Kalki, the gathering of His devotees, establishment of the Sudharma Maha-Maha Sangh, formation of 16 mandals worldwide, natural disasters (earthquakes, cyclones, tsunamis, tornadoes, forest fires), disease and pestilence, the use of nuclear weapons during the Third World War, and the transition from Kali Yuga through Ananta Yuga to Satya Yuga. According to Bhavishya Malika, by 2032, all major and minor religions will assimilate into Satya Sanatan Dharma.
Yes. Bhavishya Malika is considered a religious text in the same way that the Vedas, Puranas, and other Hindu scriptures are — sacred literature authored under divine guidance for the benefit of all humanity.
Interpreting Bhavishya Malika requires deep understanding and lifelong study. Fortunately, Pandit Shree Kashinath Mishra has devoted over four decades to this sacred scripture and has been preaching its essence with the sole purpose of spreading the teachings of our Aryan and Vedic traditions before the imminent destruction. Remarkably, his very name appears in Malika — Mahapurush Achyutananda Das writes in 'Tattva Bodhini' (Page 16):

"brāhmaṇa kūlare thiba bhakata, brāhmaṇa jāti re se kāśīnātha।
se kāśī bhakata hoiba jehi, dhaṇḍā bāṇṭiba se hukuma dei।"

An ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu will be born in the Brahmin caste and be named 'Kashinath'. While imparting the nectar of Malika wisdom to the devotees, Kashinath Ji will keep them informed about the restoration of the divine world order that lies ahead, and will give necessary commands to the devotees.
The prophecies of the Panchasakha are immutable and unchangeable — etched in stone. In the future, humanity may witness seemingly impossible events: the sun rising from the west, a lotus blooming atop a mountain peak, fire providing the sensation of cold air, ice emitting heat — but even then, the predictions of these great sages will remain accurate and unruffled. No power on Earth or elsewhere can stop the words inscribed in Malika from manifesting into reality.
Around six hundred years ago, the five closest friends and devotees of Lord Krishna — known as the 'Panchasakha' or Five Eternal Friends of Lord Jagannath — were reborn in Odisha, the holy land of Lord Jagannath. They wrote numerous scriptures containing detailed prophecies about future events, meticulously inscribed on palm leaves. These five saints were born in all four yugas:

In Kali Yuga: Achyutananda Das, Balaram Das, Jagannath Das, Jasobanta Das, Sishu Ananta Das

In Satya Yuga: Kripajala, Narada, Markandeya, Gargava, Swayambhu

In Treta Yuga: Nala, Neel, Hanuman, Jambawaan, Sushena

In Dwapara Yuga: Sudama, Dama, Subala, Subahu, Shreebacch

Tri-Sandhya
Tri-Sandhya is the three-fold daily prayer practice prescribed by the Bhavishya Malika as the essential spiritual discipline for all devotees in Kali Yuga. "Tri" means three; "Sandhya" refers to the junction points of the day — dawn, noon, and dusk. At these sacred transitional moments, when the veils between the material and spiritual worlds are thinnest, devoted prayer offers divine protection, purification of karma, and spiritual advancement. The Bhavishya Malika states it is the most important practice a devotee can undertake in the current age. Learn Tri-Sandhya →
The three times correspond to cosmic transitions in the sun's journey — sunrise, noon, and sunset — moments of maximum spiritual potency in the Vedic tradition. Each session serves a specific purpose: the dawn prayer initiates the day with divine consciousness, the noon prayer maintains it through active hours, and the evening prayer closes the day in gratitude and surrender. If you miss one session, simply continue with the next. Consistency over time is what matters most. Beginning with just one session (ideally dawn) and gradually building to all three is perfectly acceptable for beginners.
Download our free Tri-Sandhya guide (available in English, Hindi, Arabic, and Hebrew) from the Resources page. The guide contains step-by-step instructions, the complete mantra texts with transliterations, and explanations of each element of the practice. Start with the dawn prayer, which is the most powerful, and aim for 15–20 minutes. Find a clean, quiet space. Face east at dawn, north at noon, and west at dusk. You do not need any special background or initiation to begin — the practice is open to sincere seekers of all backgrounds.
Yes. The Bhavishya Malika explicitly states that Tri-Sandhya is for "all children of God" regardless of their religious background. The Bhavishya Malika's vision is universal — it speaks of Sanatana Dharma (Eternal Truth) as the underlying spiritual reality of all religions. Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra has welcomed seekers of all traditions, and we provide translations in Arabic and Hebrew to serve practitioners from diverse backgrounds. The Divine Light invoked in Tri-Sandhya is the same Truth at the heart of all sincere spiritual traditions.
The Bhavishya Malika describes numerous benefits: purification of karma, divine protection, strengthening of dharmic resolve, mental clarity, reduction of fear and anxiety, and ultimately, liberation from the cycles of birth and death. On a practical level, practitioners consistently report that regular Tri-Sandhya brings greater peace, clarity of mind, and a sense of divine presence in daily life. The scripture also specifically promises that Tri-Sandhya practitioners will be protected during the transitional period as Kali Yuga ends and the new age dawns.

Kalki Avatar
In Hindu cosmology, Kalki is the tenth and final avatar (divine incarnation) of Lord Vishnu, the Preserver of the Universe. At the end of the current Kali Yuga, when adharma (unrighteousness) reaches its maximum, Kalki will descend to destroy the forces of evil, purify the earth, and restore the cosmic order of dharma. The scriptures describe Kalki as being born in Shambhala, trained by the sage Parashurama, riding a white horse, and wielding a blazing sword. After completing his divine mission, the new Satya Yuga (Golden Age) will begin. Read more →
The Bhavishya Malika does not give a specific date. Instead, it provides signs and conditions that indicate the imminent approach of Kalki's arrival. Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra teaches that we are currently in the transitional period — the final phase of Kali Yuga — and that many of the sign-prophecies are now visible in the world around us. Rather than speculating on dates, the scripture emphasizes focusing on one's own spiritual preparation: practicing Tri-Sandhya, living according to dharma, and maintaining devotion.
This is a deeply theological question on which scholars and saints hold different views. Some traditions teach that Kalki is already born and living in Shambhala, awaiting the divine moment to reveal himself. Others hold that his birth is yet to come. The Bhavishya Malika, as interpreted by Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra, focuses primarily on the signs leading up to and surrounding his arrival rather than making definitive statements about his current status. We encourage seekers to focus on their own spiritual practice rather than speculation about this question.
The scriptures describe Shambhala as both a physical and mystical location. As a physical place, various traditions locate it in the Himalayan region — in India, Nepal, or Tibet. As a spiritual dimension, some teachings describe it as a realm that exists beyond ordinary perception, accessible only to those of sufficient spiritual development. The Bhavishya Malika's emphasis is on Shambhala as a real place from which Kalki will emerge to manifest in the physical world, initiating the great transformation.
This is the most frequently asked question. The total age of Kali Yuga is 4,32,000 years. However, due to the accrued sins and misdeeds of humanity, the age will be reduced to mere 5,000 years. Lord Shree Krishna described the major sins and the years by which Kali Yuga's lifespan is reduced:

Due to lying: 5,000 years · Due to bathing naked in the Ganges: 12,000 years · Due to a Brahmin making love with people of another caste: 30,000 years · From betraying a friend: 6,000 years · Due to not worshipping the idol of Lord Vishnu: 17,000 years · Due to not worshipping Mother Tulsi Devi: 5,000 years · Due to not serving the guest: 6,000 years · From betraying one's brother: 40,000 years · Due to consumption of forbidden foods (meat etc.): 8,000 years · Due to usurping others' wealth: 10,000 years · From cow slaughter: 1,00,000 years · By misusing charity: 14,000 years · By doing wrongs to widows: 24,000 years · From killing creatures: 11,000 years · By making love disobeying the rules of caste and creed: 12,000 years · From feticide: 7,000 years · From killing women: 32,000 years · Due to illegally possessing land meant for cow grazing and crematorium: 40,000 years · From abducting one's mother: 5,000 years · From betraying others: 40,000 years · Due to patricide, matricide and other sins: 3,000 years.

In this way, 4,27,000 years are deducted from Kali Yuga's 4,32,000 years — reducing it to just 5,000 years. Great Sage Achyutananda Das also writes in his Malika treatise 'Moh Kalpa' that just as Ravana, despite receiving a boon of 2,688 years of life, lived only a quarter of it due to his sins, similarly Kali Yuga will be reduced to only 5,000 years owing to the varied sins of humans. As per Bhavishya Malika, Lord Kalki has already incarnated in Odisha, India between 2005–2007.
The Bhavishya Malika is very specific about this. The primary preparation is regular Tri-Sandhya practice — three times daily, without interruption. Additionally: living according to dharmic principles (truth, compassion, non-violence), maintaining devotion to the Divine through prayer and meditation, studying the sacred scriptures, particularly the Bhavishya Malika itself, spreading awareness of these teachings, and supporting the mission of Kalki Avatar International. The scripture promises: "Those who walk this path will be protected in the coming transformation and will inherit the new Golden Age."
